The permanent exhibition of the Museum is structured on three levels:
On the semi basement, the Romanian biodiversity is presented and the five regions of the country are underlined: alpine, continental, panonic, steppe and pontic. It is the largest number of bio-geographical regions of all the European countries.
On the ground floor, the worldwide fauna is presented based on the bio-geographical criterion— each of the bio-geographical regions is presented by means of a representative number of species in the dioramas, together with fluid preserved specimens exhibited in vertical cylinders.
On the first floor, several themes* are presented. You may find out more about the origins and evolution of life, paleontology, insect world and the complexity of the human species. This is also the level of the interactive spaces destined for children and not only.
